Shannon's Story: Invitation to Make a Difference

This is my story - written by my Fairy Godmother. She has taken my health issues to heart and has taken it upon herself to lobby for me and others in my situation. I only wish that I could have written my story as eloquently as she has. Thank you!

I have been through many tests in my lifetime: manic depression, horrifying nightmares, sexual abuse as a child, multiple emergency surgeries, severe female issues from age 14 to 28 resulting in the inability to carry a child to term, bad decisions, bad relationships, abusive relationships, chronic illness...and the list goes on. You may ask yourself "why is she sharing this?" Because it is now my Testimony and I am NOT ashamed! I have been redeemed. These circumstances, no matter how horrific; taught me how to survive and made me who I am. I never lost HOPE - I am a child of God and without Him - I would not have the Joy and Blessings that are abundant in my life. The good Lord has put it on my heart to share my testimony and my HOPE with you. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
